Alia Shawkat (born April 18 1989) is one of the wealthiest and most well-known TV Actresses. Alia Shawkat grew up in Riverside California. Maeby Funke is a character on Fox's Arrested Development. This role brought her the TV Land Future Classic Award. She was in Whip It with Ellen Page. Shawkat played Hannah in State of Grace, from 2001 until 2004. Shawkat, as Maeby Funke Shawkat, was part of the cast of Arrested Development throughout the run of the series from 2003-2018. The series received nearly universally favorable reviews, with her performance often being praised. Brian M. Palmer described Shawkat as "one of the brightest lights on a program populated by just bright light" in addition to Scott Weinberg (eFilmCritic) called her a hilarious young lady. The A.V.
