Coleman was born in the Lancashire town of Blackpool. She was educated at Arnold School in Blackpool. In her time as headgirl, she scored straight A marks in her A-Levels. She regrets that she didn't get a normal college education in her discussion of the Emmerdale experiences. Coleman became a member of the theater group, In Yer Space while in school. The 2009 British Soap Awards she was awarded in the Best Actress Sexiest Female and Best Dramatic Performance categories. Coleman received a TV Choice Award nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who revealed in a news meeting held on the 21st of March, 2012, that Coleman would replace Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat chose to put her in the role because she has the most chemistry Smith. Additionally, she was faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she's worked in film and television projects. She is however, more known for TV projects as opposed to films. Eva has had many TV characters, however Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children' and Detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami have stood out. Actually, her part as the character Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children landed its 2 Daytime Emmy nominations. This allowed her to showcase her music creativity. Eva is also a philanthropist, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Eva has three husbands, and one child born from the third.
