April Bowlby (born April Bowlby) is an American model, actress and singer. She has been known for her role as Kandi in the CBS comedy series Two and a Half Men Stacy Barrett on Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr on Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby, an American actress best known for her role as Stacy Barrett on the American drama/comedy TV series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi from the sitcom Two and a Half Men. Her modeling career began in the early 1990s then moved on to films as well as television. Following her appearance as an extra character in the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as well as in single episodes of other shows, her first appearance on television was in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Her breakthrough performance was Kandi, in Two and a Half Men. Bowlby has gained worldwide recognition for her role as Stacy Barrett, in the hit show Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby played the role of Rita Farr/Elastigirl in the American web-based show Titans. The character she played will be featured in an upcoming spinoff of Doom Patrol. Bowlby was also in TV movies Sands of Oblivion & The Wrong Daughter. The actress made her debut on the big screen with All Roads Lead Home, and later appeared in The Slammin Salmon as well as From Prada to Nada. Then she chose to go into acting. She studied with Ivana Chaubbuck. She was offered the role in a television show (Kandi, Two and a Half Men) just a few months after she had her Hollywood audition. Bowlby is well-known for her appearances in various TV series, such as CSI (as Kaitlin in 2004), CSI: NY (as Jenny Lee in 2006), Freddie: Sydney in 2005, Stacked: Jasmine 2007 and How I Met Your Mother: Meg in 2007. Bowlby's most recent appearance was Natasha as a 12 year old girl who lost her mother in an auto accident. Bowlby has a role as Mia on the 2008 comedy The Slammin Salmon. Los Angeles is her home. She has natural red hair and blue eyes. She's single and has no children.
